William Goldwyn “Bill Nunn III, more popularly known as Bill Nunn had a reputation for playing the role of a supporting actor. He was born on the 20th of October, 1953 and died on the 24th of September, 2016. He was an American actor and was popular for playing the role of Robbie Robertson in the Spider-Man film trilogy and also his role as Radio Raheem in Do the Right Thing”.

Born to William G. Nunn and Frances Nunn in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Bill Nunn was very not exactly well positioned for the career he followed. His father was a National Football League scout and an editor at the Pittsburgh Courier. Nunn graduated from Schenley High School in 1970 and went on to graduate from Morehouse College in 1976. His relationship with Spike Lee started even before he began appearing in Spike Lee’s movies as they attended the same college.

Prior to becoming an actor, Nunn had a major interest in writing. He, however, did not pursue his interest in writing for long as he soon started giving more attention to acting. Bill Nunn featured in his first movie in 1988. This was in “School Daze”, a movie by Spike Lee. After making his acting debut in 1988, Nunn went on to take part in a lot of other movies. Some of them are  He Got Game, Mo’ Better Blues, Sister Act, Regarding Henry, Canadian Bacon, Things to do in Denver When you are Dead, The Last Seduction, Spider-Man Trilogy, Runaway Jury, Firehouse dog and a lot others. He also starred in some television series like Randy and The Mob, The Job, and A Raising in the Sun.

Bill Nunn’s works did not stop on screen. He also had some stage performances. One of his most famous stage performances was in August Wilson’s “Fences” which also featured Anthony Mackie.

Nunn did not spend his entire time alive acting alone. He was involved in some charity work, as well as community outreaches.
