Day 1: Ready For Showtime?

The countdown to fashion week is on. In the days leading up until February 11th, designers, stylists, editors, fashion bloggers and party crashers alike have been prepping in their own sequestered corners of the big city to make their grand appearance count. It’s a time to see and be seen – and there is no half-steppin’. But don’t get it mistaken. The work is grueling and the hours are long. Breaks are few and the pace is fast for everyone running the show circuit. But we must all take some special measures to make sure we are wearing our best game face – and hair, and nails, and shoes, and…you get the picture.
To help industry insiders along the path to fabulous, Wellington Hair Spa hosted a Pre-Fashion Week Pampering Party at their go-to salon in Chelsea. Complimentary blow-outs, manicures, champagne and cupcakes from Baked by Melissa were offered exclusively to beauty media.
