Spiced Lemon Tea
Wednesday, December 5th, 20073 cups boiling water
6 tea bags
3 sticks cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2/3 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups cold water
Juice of 3 lemons (about 1/2 cup)
Ice cubes
Pour boiling water over tea bags, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg; steep 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and cinnamon sticks. Stir in sugar, cold water and lemon juice; chill. Serve over ice with cinnamon stick stirrers if desired.
Yields about 4 servings
